Parke County Receives New Van for Veteran Transportation

Last August the Parke County Community Foundation provided a match to the Parke County Veterans Office to help obtain a grant from the Federal Government for a new vehicle. This vehicle will help transport 15-20 percent of veterans from Parke/Vermillion counties to VA medical facilities for medical appointments. The Veterans Office finally received their new vehicle on July 27th and has their first trip scheduled for August 2nd. Thank you for helping our veterans!
